Once you choose your preferred Internet package and purchase your service, you have the two options for installing your Cox Internet and/or TV service: Cox Easy Connect or Cox Pro Connect.

Your Cox Installation Options
Cox Easy Connect
lets you set up your new services on your own, at your convenience with our full support via app. Even better, it's totally free.
Cox Pro Connect
requires you to schedule a technician to come to your home and install your service. There is a charge associated with this option.

Complete your install & manage your account
Use the Cox App to easily install your new equipment, and then manage your bill, view your data usage, get service support with SmartHelp or message an agent with 24/7 support.
We also recommend checking your speed using SmartMove's Cox Speed Test. This will help you identify any issues. If your speed is significantly lower than advertised, be sure to reach out to support.

How to self-install your gateway
Getting your WiFi up and running with your new gateway device is easy. Start the setup right from your mobile device.
- Have you downloaded the Cox app? If not, do that now.
- With your Easy Connect kit, Cox provides everything needed to complete your install, including a coax cable, power cord, Ethernet cable, and your gateway device.
- In the Cox app, use your Cox user ID and password to sign in.
- At the top of the Home tab, click the Start Easy Connect message to begin the onscreen instructions. An Easy Connect install takes about 10-30 minutes to complete. Oliver, our virtual assistant, is available to help with any questions along the way.
Choose pickup or delivery
Your Easy Connect kit has everything you need to self-install your services. We can ship your kit to you or you can pick it up at one of our stores.

No need to wait for a technician. With Easy Connect, you can set up your services anytime, anywhere in your home (we’ll provide tips on equipment placement).
