Pros of Staying Plugged In with Cox

While the list of personal pros and cons of Cox Bundles vs. Streaming Only with Cox will vary from person to person, there are some key advantages to staying connected.

Prices vary based on plan. Explore the full details about Cox's offers here!

Lower Internet Bandwidth Requirements

With more devices connected to your home internet than ever, we know that bandwidth is important to the performance of your streaming services.  If you’re shifting to streaming only, that increased traffic could result in choppy or unreliable streams.  One main benefit of staying “plugged in” is never having to worry about missing your favorite show or the big game because of bandwidth or connectivity issues.

Easy Access to Local News and Sports

There’s no doubt about it, traditional cable subscriptions are the best and easiest way to stay connected to your local news and your favorite sports channels.  If you can’t go without waking up to your local news programming, consider sticking with your Cox bundle. If you’re looking to pick and choose your sports channels to track your favorite teams, it may end up costing extra to get everything you need.

All Your Entertainment in One Place

Moving to streaming only can create a divided viewing experience with channels separated across various streaming or on-demand content providers.  If you’re a channel surfer, or if you love the traditional guide view, consider sticking with your Cox bundle.

Cox Internet Packages

While staying connected does have its benefits, Cox offers a wide range of internet-only packages that are perfect for cutting the cord. So, if you think you’re overpaying for channels that you don’t watch, check out these internet packages to see which can save you the most money!
