What do you need to get BET+?

BET+ can be viewed through Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as apps for Apple TV. BET+ can also be viewed with an internet connection through streaming devices like Roku streaming TVs, streaming sticks, and set-top boxes, as well as Amazon Fire TV sticks, TVs, and set-top boxes. Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Roku customers can download the apps to their channels on their devices. What do you get with BET+?

More than 1,000 hours of content to stream on BET+ from the BET network includes specials, movies, and original TV shows. In addition, the library of content features older acquired movies and TV series like College Hill, Comic View, Hell Date, The New Edition Story, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and The Quad.

There are a variety of movies and shows that have previously never been available for streaming compared to other streaming services, so subscribers will have a lot of content to watch that they previously haven't had access to from other providers.

Since BET+ is a joint venture launched with Tyler Perry, subscribers have a selection of movies that have been produced and directed by Perry that are available for subscribers. Available content includes the hit Madea film series and some of Perry's stage plays, like Daddy's Little Girls, Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor, and Meet the Browns, which is not available on any other streaming platforms.

BET's sister station, the Viacom-based cable network, also offers shows that are available to be streamed like Basketball Wives, The Family Hustle, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and more. Fox's comedy series Martin is only offered exclusively through BET+

While there is a large library of content to choose from the BET cable network, BET+ also offers exclusive original TV shows and movies to subscribers on the streaming platform.

How is BET+ different?

While BET+ doesn't offer live streaming for movies and TV, it is one of the most extensive online subscription video-on-demand services, which solely focuses on the Black audience and lovers of Black culture, compared to other streaming services. BET+ also offers commercial-free content.
