Where to Watch Emmy-Winning TV Shows

Take a look at some of the most popular Emmy-winning TV shows, the awards they’ve won, and the best streaming service to watch them on.

It’s not hard to name some incredibly popular Emmy-winning TV series of the past few years. Finding where to watch them, however, isn’t always so simple.

Thankfully, the rise of streaming has made it easier to access popular TV shows from the comfort of your couch or on the go. From Netflix to HBO Max, the most recent Emmy-winning TV shows can be found on various streaming services. If you’re wondering where to watch your favorite winners (and nominees), streaming might just be your answer.

What Are Some Popular Emmy-Winning TV Series Streaming Now?

There’s no shortage of critically-acclaimed entertainment available on streaming services. Many of the most popular Emmy-winning shows such as Stranger Things, Barry, Only Murders in the Building, and What We Do in the Shadows can be accessed on your preferred platforms.

What are the Emmys, and why should you care? The Emmy Awards is a televised event held each year in Los Angeles to honor excellence in the television industry. Nominations are awarded to TV shows based on specific criteria, much like the Oscars does for movies.

Because of the high stakes, the writing, casting, costuming, and more for TV shows must be sharp to impress those making the decisions of who will be nominated. The awards can be quite competitive, thus streaming providers such as NBC’s Peacock, Disney+, Amazon, and Showtime all work hard to create the best content in order to have shows that are not only nominated but win.

Here are just a few award-winning options:

Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Brett Goldstein, and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Jason Sudeikis. There are two full seasons available, and fans are anxiously awaiting the release of season 3 in 2023.

Ted Lasso streams exclusively on Apple TV+.
