What do you need to get Sling TV?

First, you’ll need to subscribe to a Sling TV package that includes a 3-day free trial, the ability to switch between Blue and Orange at any time, and the ability to cancel anytime.  Beyond that, you’ll need a SmartTV or a Media Hub like a ChromeCast to begin streaming live to your TV.  Finally, you’ll need an internet connection of at least 5 Mbps to stream but you’ll want a package of at least 25 Mbps to ensure a smooth streaming experience. Check out these internet providers to find the best package in your area or use our Speed Test tool to see if your current connection will support cutting the cord.

How much does Sling TV cost?

Sling TV’s base packages of Blue and Orange start at $30/month. This is one of the most competitive prices from the streaming services available, but with that, Sling offers a fewer number of overall channels compared to competitors.  Sling TV’s hybrid package of Orange + Blue starts at $45/month and expands upon the channel options.  Finally, Sling offers a plethora of add-on options to expand your channels for reasonable prices ranging from $10/month to $3/month.

What is the difference between Sling Orange and Blue?

The main difference is that Sling Orange offers Disney and other Disney-owned channels such as ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, and Freeform.  Blue does not include Disney products but does include more overall channels including NFL Network, Fox News, MSNBC, FSq, Fox, NBC, and NBCSN.
