Below are all the details you need for how to view the 2024 Oscars ceremony and how you can stream this year’s Oscar nominations.

Ways to Watch the Oscars in 2024

There are a number of ways you can watch the Oscars. Here are your best viewing options:

  • Live on ABC through your cable or broadcast television provider.
  • View the live stream on ABC.com from a desktop or laptop computer.
  • Via the ABC app on your Android or iOS mobile device.
  • Through a streaming service that offers live, local channels.

Select your viewing option in advance and be sure you can access it easily on the day of the big event. This may include downloading/updating apps, subscribing to TV service, or more. Decide how you want to watch early on, so you don’t miss a minute of the red carpet or the respective award winners’ speeches.

Top 2024 Oscar Categories and Nominees

The 2024 Oscars honors the best and brightest Hollywood had to offer in 2023. It was a year that saw the world of film reignited after a tumultuous period caused by COVID and followed by both the American actors’ union (SAG-AFTRA) strike and writers’ union (WGA) strike. Despite paused productions for half of the year, theaters filled with those eager to get lost in the sweeping historical saga of Oppenheimer and the vibrant, feminist tour-de-force of Barbie.

Let's take a look at the major award nominees waiting to hear their names read on March 10. We’ll cover the top nominations, predicted winners, and where to watch them. To ensure you don’t miss any of the festivities, double check your clocks as the event falls on the first day of Daylight Savings Time in the US!
